These powerful carbon winches are aboard large megayachts, performance cruisers, and racing monohulls and multihulls. Wide-diameter drums provide extra surface area to hold line securely under high loads. Fewer wraps speed line retrieval when sheeting.

Winches feature carbon skirts and tops, aluminum drums, and strong composite jaws with one-piece sculpted line guide and peeler. PEEK roller bearings are low-maintenance, reliable, and efficient. They ride in large-diameter cages, allowing more bearings to carry the load. Stainless steel drive gears are strong and durable.

Complete customization

Options include self-tailing, top cleats, free-spinning or ratcheting base sheave additions, and left-handed rotation.

Different materials

1135 winches are available in a variety of materials and finishes: aluminum or stainless steel; tops and bases in lightweight carbon fiber, anodized aluminum, or polished stainless.

Power ratios

Drives are pedestal, electric, or hydraulic with power ratios up to 86.6:1 in the highest gear.

Self-tailing

The self-tailing mechanism on the winch means that one crew member can quickly and easily trim or raise sails.

Top cleat

Use the top cleat to quickly secure lines.
