CUSTOM RACE BOATS
Harken UK Equipped Custom Race Boats
Harken UK: Custom Hardware
The 2006 Commodores Cup is the focus or a number of campaigns this summer and the Irish are literally building a potent team.

Over on the Isle of Wight, John Corby has just launched a new IRC 37 called Blondie, while Vision Yachts have also launched Jump Juice, another IRC 37-footer, this time from designer Jason Ker. Both of these boats are aimed at the mid-boat slot for the two teams in the Irish assault on the trophy this year. They went head-to-head for the first time at the Red Funnel Easter Regatta with the Corby design taking the chocolates after a very close series.

The new big boat for the Irish team has just arrived from her builder in South Africa and is now being fitted out ready for lauching soon. Magic Glove is a IRC 50 designed by Jason Ker and is a development of his successful Aera 55-foot design. Vision Yachts are building a new Mark Mills-designed IRC 39-footer - an evolution of last years Mills 40 Tiamat.

The offshore-orientated Ker 46 Fair Do's from VMG has now hit the water, along with a new all-carbon Mills DK46 Dark & Steamy.

All of these new yachts are fully equipped with the latest lightweight and efficient Harken hardware and winch systems, proving yet again the dominance in the racing arena that Harken has built and protected over the last four decades.
