Pewaukee , Wisconsin —Harken Yacht Equipment has named Scott Norman as Southeast Regional Salesman.
In his new position, Norman will work actively in sales and service with Harken’s OEM and aftermarket accounts throughout the region.
He will serve as assistant to Southeastern Sales Manager Neil Harvey in both sales and technical service functions,
as well as actively promote and support Harken at select regattas in the Southeast.
Prior to joining Harken, Norman was the Director of Intercollegiate Sailing and Head Coach at Eckerd College and continues to serve as the Graduate Director for SAISA (South Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association).
He is actively involved with the Optimist class, and has coached the US Optimist National Team for eight years.
In his free time, Norman will continue his work with the ICSA and the USODA.
"Scott comes to Harken with a tremendous hands-on working knowledge of junior sailing and intercollegiate sailing.” said Olaf Harken , the company’s vice president.
