Harken Inc. announced the appointment of Marc Monreal as its new Corporate Secretary. With his new role as Corporate Secretary, Monreal continues to serve as Harken USA Controller, a position he has held for eight years at Harken. Outgoing Corporate Secretary Rose Sorensen enjoys the distinction of being Harken's first employee hired in 1969, and also served as the Harken USA HR Manager. Sorensen, after 41 years of loyal service, is looking forward to a new yet-to-be-announced career. Harken, Inc. is the global holding company for eight other Harken subsidiary corporations.

She should be very proud of what she has built over the years as a senior associate with my brother Peter, me, and the other leaders of Harken. We are also confident that Marc will be able to step up to the role as our incoming Corporate Secretary," explained Olaf Harken, Harken's co-Chairman of the Board and company cofounder.
