Harken Frostbiter Sailing Gloves |
Cold weather sailing
Harken has added a weather-resistant sailing glove to its popular line. The Frostbiter features sticky, abrasion-resistant Black Magic® palm material and finger wraps for durability and a powerful grip. Stretch-woven material is bonded to neoprene over the back of the hand for warmth in wet conditions. Stretch softshell fleece panels allow finger mobility and provide insulation.
“We’ve had so many requests from sailors to design a glove that works in cold weather” said designer Ryan Gallagher. “The Harken Frostbiter glove keeps hands warm, but is flexible so sailors can grip wet lines and winch handles for easy sail trimming. We think this new glove gives racers and cruisers exactly what they need when temperatures drop.”
Other glove details include: extended neoprene cuffs to mate with spray top. Molded-rubber wrist closures, and molded rubber guard strips on the back.
