Newport, Rhode Island, September 1, 2007: Harken Yacht Equipment today announced further expansion of their Grand Prix service team with the move of Ethan Brown from Harken’s Pewaukee-based engineering team to their Newport, RI custom office. Brown's duties include preparing specifications and quotations for winch and hardware systems for Harken’s custom boat projects, and acting as project manager for all aspects of certain projects. Using Brown’s experience as an engineer, he will also project manage custom hardware designs with engineering, and design and specify winch and hardware systems.
“Harken continues to enjoy leadership in the Grand Prix area, and we remain dedicated to providing all our customers with the service they expect from our company. Considering our growth, creating this role and hiring Ethan is a natural progression,” explained Peter Harken.
