Pewaukee, WI—Bronze winches enhance the classic look and feel of a yacht, while providing the low-friction pulling power of Harken® refined gearing systems.

To meet increased customer demand, we have expanded the line to include self-tailing or plain top styles, wide or standard drums, and 2 or 3 speeds. Power ratios range from 40:1 in the 2-speed winches to 80:1 in the wide-body 3-speed models which are often used with electric or hydraulic drives to handle sheets and halyards on the largest yachts. Winch tops can be engraved with the yacht name to follow the classic aesthetics of the Harken bronze line.

"Now sailors can not only preserve their yacht's traditional look, but match the gear to the type of sailing they enjoy."

Marine-grade polished-bronze materials maximize durability and corrosion resistance. Strong load-carrying gears are 17-4PH stainless steel for strength. Stainless self-tailing jaws accept a range of line sizes.
