New Harken Furler Designed for Quick Assembly and Easy Handling
With a new Harken ESP Jib Reefing & Furling system on the bow
of your yacht, safety and simplicity lead the way. When the weather comes up, you can reduce sail area without leaving the safety of your cockpit.
Black Magic® AirBlocks®
Harken’s Ultimate Big Boat Block Just Got Better
Harken adds a hot new look to the ultimate in big boat blocks. Since the mid-1990s, Harken Black Magic® AirBlocks® have become the favored choice of big boat performance racers and cruisers. The new Black Magic blocks have swapped the sculpted sideplates of its predecessors for ones with the sculpted lines and smooth surfaces reflecting the style of the Harken’s 2011 DAME-nominated T2™ blocks.
Radial® White Winches
Radial® White Winches Make a Bold Splash
Harken’s newest Radials® combine bold styling with the technical excellence the Radial Winch line is known for. Mirror-finished chrome drums with white composite tops, self-tailing jaws, and bases provide a striking aesthetic option for everything from modern yachts to teak classics.
Small Boat Catamaran Traveler Car
The 2756 traveler car is a great choice for small high-speed beachcats. Machined from solid aluminum, these compact, lightweight cars feature Torlon® ball bearings to handle high loads. The cam arm pivots to accept fair leads and features a 471 Micro Carbo-Cam for fast, precise trimming.
Torlon® is a registered trademark of Solvay Advanced Polymers.
Performa™ Racing Winches
Harken Performa™ Racing Winch Line Expanded
Harken has added four new sizes to complete the Performa™ line, now ranging from size 20 to 80. Adopting the high-efficiency of Radial® winches, new Performa PT (plain top),
ST (self-tailing), and Quattro winches complement Harken’s carbon racing line with a lower-cost alternative in smaller sizes. The Performa features a sandblasted drum optimized for halyard and sheeting applications using smaller high-tech racing lines.
Small Boat Underdeck Furling
Harken designed the 493 Small Boat underdeck furler to fit medium-sized sportboats with maximum luff wire diameters of 5 mm (5/16 in). The spherical through-deck ball joint allows for stay movement and requires no lubrication. Multiple stacked races provide smooth rotation under load. The compact spool and guard fits neatly beneath the deck and installs easily.
Megayacht Winches
Harken's Favorite Megayacht Winches Now Offer More Power and Speed
Pull More with New Harken Power Gear Winches
The 1130 and 1135 wide-body megayacht winches have a new reduced gear version to increase pulling power in first gear. Both winches now have an optional 2.5:1 gear ratio in place of the direct drive 1:1. In first gear the new 1130 can pull up to 500 kg and the 1135 can pull up to 600 kg. In third gear they have an overall maximum pulling power of 9 and 11 tons, respectively.
Harken 1120 Winches Overhauled for More Power
The 1120 winch has received an extensive redesign to increase pulling power to 8.5 tons. The 1120HL transmission and housing now keeps pace with our other high-load winches such as the 1111 and 1130. The drum height is increased to accept more wraps for high loads, and a new push-button on the top of the winch immediately switches to the 2.5:1 first gear.
Captive Reel Winches
New streamlined line available with 1.5, 3, 6, 9, 12, 16 and 18 Tons of Pulling Power
The new Harken Captive Reel Winch line has expanded to include models with Maximum Working Loads of 1.5, 3, 6, 9, 12, 16, and 18 tons. Designed to control halyards and sheets on boats 19 m (60 ft) and up, intensive development and rigorous testing programs at Harken Italy have created a powerful captive winch that is 10 to 20% smaller in size than similarly configured winches.
Hydraulic Integral Backstay Adjuster
Harken Offers First Double-Acting Hydraulic Backstay Adjuster
Harken Integral Hydraulic Backstay Adjusters use double-acting pumps to deliver oil when the handle is pushed and pulled, reducing pumping time by nearly doubling the flow of single-acting pumps standard on other integrals.
Access Rail Wheeled Car
Wheeled CE-Certified Addition to Harken’s Access Rail System Offers Greater Maneuverability
Harken’s original Access Rail System ran on track mounted to surfaces facing downwards or sideways, but the new Access Rail Wheeled Car allows track to be mounted atop surfaces facing upwards. The new car allows workers to hang over a corner from the mounted track. Cantilevered weight is anchored on the car then supported by wheels that run alongside the car.
MKIV Hydraulic Jib Reefing & Furling
Units 7 & 8 have been added to Harken’s MKIV line of hydraulic furlers. These compact units take the work out of sail handling, allowing crew to reef, furl, or set sail with the touch of a button. Both tack and head have independent swivels, improving sail shape when partially reefed. Units are lashed on to evenly distribute loads and eliminate heavy shackles.
Unit 7: -115, -150, -170 rod
Unit 8: -170, -195, -220, -260, -320 rod
Stainless Steel Cam-Matic® Cleats
Harken stainless steel Cam-Matic® cleats add elegant accents to your yacht’s stainless deck gear. Powered by multiple rows of high-load ball bearings, these mirror-polished cleats engage and release line instantly—even under maximum tension.
Hydraulic Rotary Pumps
Harken’s 2-speed rotary pump features both automatic and manual shift points—a first in the industry. When grinders reach their preset maximum power input, the pump automatically shifts from 1st to 2nd gear. If the shift point is not reached (fewer crew are grinding, for example), reversing the pedestal handles allows them to shift gears manually.
Carbo T18™ Soft-Attach Blocks
Harken Makes a Big Splash with the T18™—Our Lightest Block Ever
With the new T18™ block's 125 kg (275 lb) working load and 7.2 g (0.25 oz) weight, this tiny block is our lightest soft-attach and the perfect complement to Harken's popular T2™ line. It installs anywhere and articulates for perfect lead angles. A stainless grooved race and stainless balls vastly increase working load, while the non-load-bearing components are made of lightweight and impact-resistant composites.
Carbo T2™ Soft-Attach Blocks
Harken Releases Its Lightest Block Ever

Harken's Carbo T2™ is the first block with no fasteners, rivets or other metal parts to add weight. Its composite structure, applied industrial design, and new branding gives this patent-pending block a hot new look that appeals to racing sailors both young, and young at heart.
Radial® UniPower™ Winches
Harken UniPower Winches Increase Headroom Belowdeck—Now in Mirror-Finished Chrome or Lightweight Aluminum
Harken's electric UniPower Radial® winch is the answer for sailors that want more headroom belowdeck. The motor of this one-of-a-kind winch is partially embedded inside the drum so only 4-1/8 in (105 mm) projects under the cabintop—an important feature for smaller boats where space below is limited. The compact UniPower is available in mirror-finished chrome or lightweight aluminum to match boat style. 12 and 24 volt.
32 & 40 mm T-Track Halyard Tensioners
Securely hold Rope or Wire Halyards on Large Cruisers
The Harken halyard tensioner locks halyards at full hoist and frees the halyard winch for other functions. Offered in 32 mm single pin and 40 mm single and double-pin versions with self-locking T-Track.
Trysail Switch System & Switch Double Storage Track
Complements Harken Switch T-Track Battcar Systems
The innovative Trysail Switch integrates with the Switch T-Track Battcar System by sharing a single track to reduce weight aloft. Both trysail switch and mainsail systems are available in 26, 32, and 50 mm sizes. Double storage track in 26 mm.
Hydraulic Control Panels
Power-Up Sail Controls From The Cockpit
Harken MVP-1 Single Control and MVP-4 Multi-Control Hydraulic Panels power backstays, boom vangs, and outhauls from a control panel remotely mounted in the cockpit. MVP Control Panels include a 2-speed pump, handles, easy-to-read gauge, integrated pressure relief and release valves, and a 4-liter reservoir. Control panels mount using Harken O-ring gasket seals for a waterproof installation.
Touch Trim Electric Mainsail Trimming System
Easy Push Button Mainsail Trimming Made Possible with In-Boom Electric Mainsheet System
The Touch Trim joins Harken's family of powered control systems for cruisers in its quest to provide sailors with "easy sailing" solutions. Now the mainsheet is no longer in the cockpit, but is self-contained in the boom, freeing the skipper to trim and ease the main by electric push button from anywhere in the boat.
