There will be a $30 entry fee due the first day of the Harken Series, and no later than the third day (first day of the second regatta). The entry fee includes a T-shirt for each skipper.

Trophies for first, second, third, fourth, and fifth, overall (series), as well as, first, second and third in Red, Blue and White Fleet, will be donated by Harken and presented upon completion of the series.

RULES
Each regatta will be governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing, the prescriptions of US SAILING, the USODA Class Rules; this Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions issued by each club, except in the event that any of these are modified by Sailing Instructions and the appendices to the Sailing Instructions.

SCORING
The Low-Point Scoring System will apply with 15 or more races scheduled. A DNC will be based on the total number of entries in the series. A DNF, DSQ and DNS will be based on the total number of Harken Series starters in each individual regatta.

Throw out races will be incorporated into the series scoring with the following formulas:

If 14-15 races are completed, there will be 1 throw out
If 16-17 races are completed, there will be 2 throw outs
If 18-19 races are completed, there will be 3 throw outs
If 20 or more races are completed, there will be 4 throw outs.

Sail number changes must be reported to the Harken series chairman, Doug Cefali, or Co-Chairs Carrie Dair, and Alfonso Sosa Cordero, and reported to the race committee before the first race each day.
