TITLE: Harken Sport Product Development, Design and Sourcing
REPORTS TO: Harken Sport Manager
BASED AT: Harken Sport, Pewaukee, Wisconsin
STATUS: Contract/Direct
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reorganize and oversee sourcing of clothing, footwear and luggage.
- Responsible for sourcing fabrics, materials, trims and accessories.
- Provide styling input and ideas on technical sportswear apparel, footwear, accessories and luggage.
- Develop spec packs for production preparation and manufacturing vendors.
- Monitor production timelines.
- Work with Harken Sport Manager to give input on line and product direction.
- In conjunction with Harken Sport Manager, define aspects of construction, form, fit and function while meeting criteria for product features, cost, manufacturability and project schedules.
- Execution of individual designs and collections appropriate to product and design brief.
- Creation of high quality design packaging, boxes and hang tags during development process.
- Partner with Harken Sport Manager to create innovative and technologically advanced products.
- Research industry and product periodicals for new trends and information.
- Collaborate with sales, advertising and marketing and supplier teams throughout development process.
- Research and develop product attention labels and washing instruction tags.
- Communicate with suppliers on issues.
- Oversee product testing and standardization for each production run or product.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Production Management, Fashion or Footwear, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Production experience.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Excel, Adobe in Design, Corel Draw. Required to learn and use Sharepoint, Microsoft Dynamix AX and Perfion.
- Ability to formulate color palettes.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of apparel construction.
- Strong knowledge of product cycles.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with textiles and construction properties.
- Understanding of product costs and impact on design.
- Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadline and goals despite unexpected setbacks, obstacles or time constraints.
- Team player able to interact in a positive, constructive manner with staff members on all levels within the company.
- Ability to use standard office equipment.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, feel or handle objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands or arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.

TITLE: Material Handler
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
BASED AT: Harken, USA., Pewaukee, WI
STATUS: Non-Exempt, Full Time
JOB PURPOSE
Timely and accurate distribution of product for Assembly and Order Picking departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pick inventory from automated carousel to work order specification and deliver to designated area.
- Pick inventory from static shelving to work order specification and deliver to designated area.
- Pick inventory from automated carousel to customer sales order specification and deliver to designated area.
- Fulfill parts request for rush work orders or sales orders in a timely manner.
- Replenish carousel bins with inventory from other stock locations; verifying the correct part and count.
- Conduct cycle-count requirements as designated by inventory team.
- Accurately count all product being "added to" or "taken from" carousel.
- Visually confirm that part being replenished or retrieved match the bin's part number.
- Foster a good relationship and communication within the team.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalency.
- High degree of accuracy with numbers.
- Ability to lift cartons weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to understand and use carousel software.
- Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines and goals despite unexpected setbacks, obstacles or time constraints.
- Team player able to interact in a positive, constructive manner with staff members on all levels within the company.
- Moderate level of computer proficiency.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. TITLE: Hydraulic Assembler
REPORTS TO: Hydraulic Department Manager
BASED AT: Harken, Inc., Pewaukee, WI
STATUS: Non-Exempt, Full Time
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage assembly work orders and stock levels to provide excellent order fill rates.
- Verify, record and put into inventory component part shipments.
- Prioritize work orders in relation to delivery due dates and keep Hydraulic Manager advised of work status, workload, problems, and progress as related to work assignments.
- Assemble and test hydraulic component parts.
- Prepare project status and service performed reports.
- Advise customer service when orders are delayed.
- Assist in hydraulic inventory management.
- Pick hydraulic projects for shipping.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one year of related experience in a manufacturing setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadline and goals despite unexpected setbacks, obstacles or time constraints.
- Team player able to interact in a positive, constructive manner with staff members on all levels within the company.
- Ability to use standard office equipment.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Publisher.

BASED AT: Harken USA, Waukesha, WI
STATUS: Full-time, Non-Exempt
JOB PURPOSE
High level programmer and set up machinist, skilled in programming, setting up, and operating CNC Lathe equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Machining a variety of materials compliant with the engineered drawings.
- Maintain work area, machines and tools.
- Maintain the highest level of quality.
- Must communicate changes accurately and effectively.
- Ability to program and set up complicated machined parts.
- Ability to maintain schedules to maximize work flow.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalency and five-to-seven year experience in a manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of machining practices.
- Good understanding of tooling and grades.
- CAM programming experience and set up skills, MasterCAM preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Journeyman's card preferred.
