Topping Lift and Downhaul
Vang, topping lift, and downhaul control lines lead through a covered channel in the center of the boat, keeping the cockpit open and uncluttered.
SPINNAKER
The spinnaker is trimmed from anywhere in the cockpit via a 57 mm Ratchamatic® Flip-Flop block mounted forward for the middle crew. The Flip-Flop keeps the sheet close to the deck while running forward.
Mainsheet System
This low-profile 5:1 mainsheet system features the load-sensing Carbo Ratchamatic®.
VANG
The double-ended 16:1 vang uses three sizes of Carbo blocks in a cascaded system that terminates in multi-block system. The control leads to the middle crew for a powerful purchase with less travel.

The Elliott 6 Meter will make its Olympic debut in the womens match racing event at the 2012 London Olympic Games. Designed by New Zealander Greg Elliott, this brilliant thin-bulbed keel racer is quick-moving, nimble, and physical to sail. The large open-style cockpit ensures flat-out hiking by the three crew. Sail controls are led through a tunnel in the floor to maximize work space. Boats will be supplied by regatta organizers leading up to the Olympics, so sailors at all levels can perfect match racing—one-on-one duels of strategy and tactics. A fleet will also be provided for the 2012 Olympic competition.
