The Etchells 22 is a popular trailerable keelboat. Easily handled by three or four sailors, this stable sleek racing sloop attracts an enthusiastic following. Competitors often find themselves racing with world-class sailors like Dennis Connor, Russell Coutts, John Bertrand, Vince Brun and Judd Smith. The Etchell's class is fiercely competitive and the boat one of the quickest light-air dinghies on the water.

This unique underdeck system bends or straightens the mast by pulling just one line.

Jib System
The gross-trim allows the trimmer to sheet in quickly, while the fine-tune permits micro adjustments when the wind is up and the loads are high. The lead car adjustment helps shape the sail under load. Both gross-trim and lead car systems are under deck to keep the working area clean.
